In the end of December is the pinnacle event for LYC’s Sailing Program, the Orange Bowl Regatta. LYC placed 1st in the Laser Standard, Laser Radial, Opti and 29er! That is almost a full sweep of classes during tricky condition racing on Biscayne Bay! Congratulations to Stephan Baker who won the Opti Class, Chase Carraway 1st, Carrson Pearce 2nd, and Hallie Schiffman 4th in Laser Radial, Leo Boucher 1st in Laser Standard, Bella Casaretto and Kaitlin Hamilton 1st, Christopher Williford 2nd in 29er! That’s six podium spots in four Classes!
